To support the owner in critical decision making, we provided projected financial statements and analysis to clearly present the financial picture of the business post merger, including opportunities to improve profitability and cash flow projections under various scenarios.

ABC Co spent many staff hours recording metrics to report results but needed focus on where to go with the data that was collected and use of the data to set direction. As outsourced CFO, we have worked with management to understand key drivers and use performance metric results to forecast performance and identify areas where improvement is needed. In addition, we simplified reporting to create better focus, allowing more time to be spent on identifying solutions for better performance. We have implemented incentive plans around achievement of key performance metrics and as a result, the management team is more aligned with corporate goals and all actions and discussions are centered on corporate goals and where opportunities for improvement exist.
Scenario
XYZ Co. needed a business plan to document their history and to be used to secure financing to support growth. Our firm created and delivered a business plan and then was hired to lead the growth initiatives of that plan as outsourced CFO. We have effectively worked with financial partners to secure financing to meet their goals and lead the organization through its growth initiatives. After securing financing, our focus has been on creating more effective sales commission plans, implementing effective financial reporting and improving financial business processes. As a result, the company is effectively implementing it’s growth plans and making proactive decisions.
